Club meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month except January. In January, the club meeting is on the second Wednesday of the month. (See below for a list of specific dates.)
The meetings start at 7:30pm. People usually arrive around 6:45 or 7:00pm so we can start on time. Place your food order and pay for it at the counter upstairs and let them know you are with the car club and they will deliver it to you in the basement.
We have a short business meeting and then everyone is free to chat about cars or autocrossing or rallying. Magazine trading is encouraged. At some meetings we have slides of autocross events of yesteryear, or of vintage car races taken by one of us, or we’ll watch a video that someone has acquired.
Location
Meetings are held in the basement of the Monical’s Pizza on the south side of Kirby Avenue just west of the corner of Kirby and Neil in Champaign. (Across from Walgreens and west of McDonald’s.) Everyone is welcome, including guests. We are a family-oriented club so you will always find parents, spouses and children as well as single people in attendance.
