We certainly don’t need to go over any of the news about the COVID-19 virus and the actions being taken to curb the spread and flatten the curve. In light of the measures everyone is taking to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the CCSCC Board voted to cancel the event this weekend, March 21 & 22.
Additionally, Parkland College has cancelled the workshop “work day” on March 28. This is the day we get to tech folks cars and work on our own. We’ll see if there is a need to reschedule.
With the window of “social distancing” extending to an 8-week window, we will make determinations of events the weekend before the event is scheduled. We have 2 more events scheduled in that window, AutoX School on April 4&5 and the April AutoX event on April 18&19.
Registration will open as usual and we encourage you to pre-reg and pre-pay. Those actions will help the event to go smoothly and registration to go quickly.
If we cancel those events, PayPal refunds will be process shortly after the event cancellation announcement.
We are trying to do the responsible thing in a timely manner.
Let me know if you have any questions.
