It is a great year! A great year so far! Lets see what we have done so far.
We have held four rallies, five autocrosses, an autocross school and a TestNTune.
We have purchased a new timing system (that is really great!), we have more members than ever before at this time of the year and our social events are already arranged for the year!
Finally, we have this new website that will become live sometime in June. All in all, CCSCC is off to a great start!
So…. how does this affect you? Well, you will get more and better rallies, more and better autocrosses, and great club meetings, a summer picnic at the Bedfords and a wonderful year end awards banquet!
What can you do to help? We do need you ! Come on out to autocrosses early and help set up. Come to the May 7 and 8 Rantoul Patching days. On Friday, May 7, 1 pm at the autocross site to select and cut bad concrete; 8am on May 8 to pour and finish concrete. On Sat. May 8, you get a free lunch when we are done. Of course, there really is no “free lunch”, but we’re going to call it that…..
For rallies, RUN THEM! We had lots of good rallies last year and the attendance showed it. Volunteer to help the rallymasters as check point crews or cold run teams (or both!)
Lets make 2010 even better than 2009 for CCSCC!
