The points are now firmly divided by “members” and “non-members”. Only members are eligible for trophies at the Annual Banquet……so, note to self, let points@ccsportscarclub.org know if you are a member and the spreadsheet shows you as a non-member. Also, check your points and let me know if something needs correcting.
OK, on to the fun stuff………..There’s quite the battle for 1st place in AutoX this season ChrisA, BrianC, and IsaacG are all tied up at 97 of a possible 100 points. With JoshuaJ and RussB only a point or 2 behind. With 4 (40 points) available yet in the season, it’s gonna be a slug-fest for the top honors. And if you look at 40 pts remaining that means everyone down to 17th place has the opportunity to max out to 100 points.
- Autocross Points – 3-way Tie for 1st with ChrisA (97), BrianC (97), and IsaacG (97), then 4) JoshuaJ (96), and 5) RussB (95).
The Categories are a little bit more spread out for the top positions. With 9 events counting this season in the Categories, that makes the Max points a total of 90,000 possible.
- Street Category – 1) IsaacG – 88,042, 2) BrianC – 86,292, 3) JoshuaJ – 84,894, 4) MitchellP – 83,098, and 5) RussB – 76,556. Lot’s of possibilities here to improve and maybe bump folks from these spots. There’s 40,000 points possible in the last 4 events.
- Street Touring Category – 1) ChrisA – 89,515, 2) GregJ – 65,200, 3) DeanP – 55,727, 4) AndrewD – 53,405, and 5) VictorE – 46,077. Chris is doing awesome this season, but, the 3 other folks still have a chance to gain spots.
- Race Tire Category – 1) GregG – 76,923, 2) JulioC – 37,903, 3) AJM – 36,980, 4) PhilipB – 30,000, and 5) DarrylD – 25,116. This is a fun category to watch during the season. But, even with the points remaining, it looks like GregG may have this locked up.
- ProClass Category – 1) AndrewS – 59,912, 2) EmanuelM – 59,834, 3) WilliamD – 29,314, 4) XufengT – 19,799, and 5) IsaacG – 19,571. Wow, AndrewS and EmanuelM are really pulling away from the crowd in points. Looks like IsaacG is in the Top5 in two different categories……Nice driving IsaacG!!
